I stopped in at the sporting good store. I had been looking at Nike running shirts. I had read that you want a running shirt to fit so that it is not floppy loose, but not skin tight either. I normally wear XL t-shirts, so I wasn’t sure what size of running shirt to get. I grabbed a large, and tried it on. It fit like I think a running shirt is supposed to fit. So I bought it. It is a Nike Sphere Dry shirt, with Scotchlite refective material trim. It cost $35 + tax. Now that I know what size of shirt I want, I also bought another Nike Dri-Fit shirt off of eBay. It is new still with the tags, and cost $13 including shipping. I need to buy some more shorts.
I think I may want to buy another pair of running shoes. I bought a pair of Nike Monarch II shoes a few weeks ago, and have already put many miles on them. They are size 11. But I think I may buy a pair of size 11.5’s. I have read that the pounding from a marathon can cause the feet to swell a half size or more. I normally wear size 10.5’s or 11’s. As far as sneakers go, I only wear Nike anymore. I wore Nike Cortez shoes way back when. They were great. I have owned a couples pairs of Reeboks over the years. But one pair ripped the crap out of the backs of my ankles (by the Achilles tendon), and I have never bought another pair of Rebooks.
