I am scheduled to run 15 miles today. So far, I have run 9 miles. I had the hard work out yesterday (Aikido class, 7 mile run, 10.6 mile bike ride). It’s not like my legs hurt. In fact they feel okay. My feet are a little uncomfortable, but they don’t really hurt. I am not tired. It’s just like I lack motivation. It’s like I am on the treadmill, and I just can’t wait to get off. Today is supposed to be an “easy” run, so I have the treadmill set to 4.5mph. My heart rate is staying in the high 130’s or low 140’s which is good. I used to be that I would have the treadmill set 4.3mph, and I would have to spend half the time walking, because as soon as I started jogging, my heart rate would go above 150. So my aerobic fitness is improving. I just have to get through this run. I have the tv playing a DVD, but that is not hold my interest much. Next week the schedule has me running fewer miles than this week. But then the following weeks cranks em up a notch. Maybe I will run a couple more miles, then go soak in the tub. I have karate class this afternoon, then maybe when I get home, I can run the balance of miles. I don’t know. Blah!

10 miles down. I am going to take a bathroom break, and maybe go eat a sandwich. Then maybe I will run another mile or two. My legs feel tingly at the moment. I took out the DVD I have been watching (some stupid movie named April’s Shower), and put in another DVD named The Perfect Score. This movie is much more interesting.

11 miles down. My legs are still tingly. My feet are getting more uncomfortable. I think I may go soak now, and run the other 4 miles tonight after karate class.

I took a hot bath, then napped for an hour. Then I headed off for a 2 hour karate class. When I got home, I ate dinner, and then ran 4 miles to finish off my 15 miles for the day. My feet are sore. I also started to feel a slight twinge in my groin area. Hopefully nothing serious. Now I am going to take a quick shower, and maybe make some spaghetti maranara. I am still hungry.
